Chemistry Central Journal publishes peer-reviewed open access articles in all areas of chemistry. The journal comprises 8 subject sections:
Sébastien Sauvé is Associate Professor in Environmental Analytical Chemistry at the Université de Montréal.
His research is focused partly on ‘traditional’ contaminants such as lead, copper and cadmium, and partly on emerging contaminants, such as pharmaceuticals and nanoparticles. His work deals mainly with the chemical speciation and bioavailability of metals in soils, ecotoxicological work for metals and pharmaceutical compounds on soil microbial processes, fish and invertebrates, analytical development for mass spectrometry analysis of pharmaceuticals, cyanotoxins and pesticides and the environmental fate and behaviour of such contaminants in water (surface, waste and drinking water), soils, sediments and manure.
